WhatNotSell ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered deals aggregation platform operating at whatnotsell.com. We help shoppers discover discounted products across multiple online marketplaces. You can contact us at hello@whatnotsell.com.
When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. When you use the platform, we collect your saved deals, alert preferences, category preferences, and location (country/region). We do not collect payment information — all billing is handled by Stripe, which has its own privacy policy. We do not collect sensitive personal data such as health information, financial details, or government IDs.
We use your data to provide and improve the WhatNotSell service, send you deal alerts you have opted into, personalise your deals feed based on your category and location preferences, and communicate service updates. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising profiling.
WhatNotSell participates in affiliate marketing programmes. When you click a "View deal" link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the retailer at no extra cost to you. This is how WhatNotSell remains free for shoppers. Affiliate relationships do not influence the ranking or selection of deals shown on the platform.
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and maintain your session. We use analytics cookies to understand how the platform is used and improve it. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect platform functionality.
We share your data only with service providers necessary to operate WhatNotSell: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payment processing for B2B plans), and Resend (email delivery). Each provider is bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We do not share your data with retailers or affiliate partners beyond what is necessary to process affiliate commissions.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, object to or restrict processing of your data, and data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@whatnotsell.com. EU and UK residents have additional rights under GDPR and UK GDPR respectively.
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication via Supabase, and row-level security on our database ensuring users can only access their own data. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
WhatNotSell is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of WhatNotSell after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
